After getting Cannon out the door for his day of polo, we headed out to get breakfast at Pine State Biscuits, They are renowned for their biscuits and the line out the door showed that they were a popular place.
Stevie had a biscuit, chicken, blue cheese with fried green tomato sandwich.
London opted for his favorite - biscuits and gravy.
After fueling up, we drove into downtown Portland and then went to the Museum of Science and Industry. It was a great museum for kids - very hands on.

Emmy loved the dry ice bubbles
They had a chemistry room so Stevie goggled up to teach them some experiments.
I think Cannon needs this quilt...
After a few hours in the museum, it was time to eat again! I wanted to try a waffle restaurant I had read about called, what else, The Waffle Window. Where else can you buy only waffle entrees at a walk up window? There were savory and sweet options that all sounded amazing. I went savory and had bacon, brie and basil on a waffle whereas London went sweet and ordered the Nutella and banana option. Yummo!

After stuffing ourselves on waffles, we headed back to the hotel so the kids could swim before Stevie and the kids headed back to Washington. We decided that it was better for them go back home with the dog while I stayed on with Cannon. There are lots of water polo parents here so I got a ride home with my friend, Jillian.
