12s

Here in Washington, football is serious stuff, especially the Seahawks.  Man, woman, child, baby, dog, it doesn't matter - everyone is a fan of the Seahawks here.  So when they made it to the Superbowl for the second year in a row, the people here were beside themselves with Seahawk fury!  Everywhere were Seahawk signs, lights, clothes, bumper stickers, lawn decorations, etc.  Even McDonalds offered Seahawk Happy Meals with Seahawk tatoos.

So the Sunday of Superbowl, in support of the Seahawks and Stevie, our football fanatic, the whole family dressed in blue and green.  London was most distressed that we were not in dress clothes for church, but I assured him we would not be alone, and we weren't.  I really wanted to take a picture of the sanctuary covered in Seahawk apparel, but thought it might be inappropriate.  I had to borrow a t-shirt from London and Emmy had to sport an old hand-me-down jersey, but we did our best to look like a family of 12s!
