About a month ago, for London's birthday, Grammie and Grandpa bought us a membership to the Museum of Flight in Seattle. As time has a habit of getting away from us, this weekend was our first visit. The Museum of Flight is a great hands-on museum of both plane and space flight and is situated right at the Boeing air field.
London was thrilled to have his picture taken with an F-14 Tomcat in the background. This is his favorite plane of all time.
The museum is a huge gallery of all kinds of planes, helicopters and other flying devices. They're pretty much all the same to me, but the kids and Stevie knew the different ones and were thrilled by all of them.
Here's Em sitting in the cockpit of, uh, I think an F-18? Maybe F-16? I know it wasn't an F-14 or an F-22...

There's my future fighter pilot! |
The museum hosts high school classes for learning to fly and we were able to go into the simulation booths used by them and fly our own planes around the Puget sound. Cannon looks like he's having fun doing rolls. London and Steve were together and they were able to fly over our house and land. I, however, was with Emmy who tested how many times we could crash and still come back to life!
And here's my future astronaut...
