Zoo Field Trip

Emmy's class hasn't had a field trip all year, so they finally got one scheduled just before the end of the year.  They have been doing a unit on sea life, so the logical "study trip" location was the Point Defiance Zoo.  I signed up to chaperone, and also signed up my mom and dad!  It was really crazy for the first half of the day with more than 2,000 screaming, excited school kids at the zoo.  But eventually, they settled down and we all enjoyed the day.

At the new touch tank.

This was our group to chaperone.  I love the wonder expressed in this photo.
