On Monday, the kids played and played some more. Emmy and London got to meet Uncle Brian since he was working the until late on Sunday night. London was most fascinated with his guns and begged to see them. We also played outside some but had to wait until the coating of ice from the night before melted. Even though we anticipated horrible, cold weather, the brief coating of ice turned out to be the only bad weather for the week. In fact, by Thursday it was in the lower 60s! The kids decided the big outing of the day would be to Barnes and Noble. I know it seems a little strange, but that's where they all wanted to go.
Going for a walk with Jetta, their dog.

See how beautifully sunny it was! |
Before we arrived, during the anticipation time, Kimberly wrote to tell me how excited Zachariah was that London was coming. He "called" sitting next to London at every meal and had great plans to play with London and chase the girls away. It was so cute to see Zachariah with London! Every time London sat down, Zachariah would plop down next to him and snuggle up - which is huge for London since he doesn't even let his sister snuggle with him.
Story time before bed.
